Google AdSense will be releasing new stats for publishers "very soon". While they haven't announced exactly what all stats are included, they will blow everything else out of the water.

I am guessing they will be offering stats broken down into individual domains and possibly (hopefully!) broken down to a page level, so publishers know exactly what pages are getting the best CTR and EPC.

Offering stats in a graphical format would also be something publishers would find useful.

If these stats are as comprehensive as it sounds like they will be, it will save publishers from having to mess around with third party scripts and tools, especially since some of them violate the AdSense TOS.

I know many are looking forward to a variety of new stats. What other sorts of stats do publishers want on their AdSense stat wish list?

My AdSense stats not updating either.

I think that they are rolling out goodies at the plex. ASA do you think that such an optomistic view will be rewarded?

Go on, say it's true...

guys,

if you have ever been in the software development business you should know that after "very soon" comes "any day now".

Don't hold your breath until you see that ...

Oetzi - that's funny. Hopefully we won't get a "limited rollout" after the "any day now."

I was in the software developments business. Even did a stint as Release Manager for a new online product. Nothing more fun than directing VP's from a middle management position.

eheh... Just pray that it does not fall into the "about 2 weeks" category - this is when you know you are really in trouble. ;)

Ad Sonar is expected to launch their goodies rich program in April, therefore I'd expect that Google will try to get their goodies out to publishers before then :)

April of which year? How long as Ad Sonar been expecting to launch?

Just remember, 'beta testing' can last forever too!

Well if FROOGLE Beta is anything to go by, we could be in for a long wait, but with other programs pushing forward with their stats (new Goodies) this may give the team more incentive to keep up, and I have already entered my estimated date of arrival for the new goodies.

I doubt that **** will launch anytime soon now that they no longer have access to any advertisers other than the handful of house ads they have.

April of which year?

A former project manager of mine actually used to say: "Sure you can promise a date, as long as you don't include the year!"

Plus ça change...

Let us be positive.

I don't think anyone is not positive but it's hard to take a company seriously when they anounced the release last year and have now lost their only source of advertisers, since it seems FindWhat pulled the plug on them, and now they have to rely the few in house advertisers they have.

What I would like is to be able to put a real time adsense revenue counter on my desktop sort of like the big numbers on the Jerry Lewis telethon.;)

<added>Naturally, it would have a little bell that goes 'ch-ching' whenever there is a click worth more than x</added>

Powdork, you just blew my mind! A Google Adsense revenue toolbar that's integrated into internet explorer browser.

Google Adsense development team listening? This would greatly cut down on the number of stats logins and reduce bandwidth usage.

A real time revenue bar on the desktop!

IMO this would start a stampede to deploy AdSense and also provide G with hugely valuable data via the surfing stats that would no doubt be trapped by the device.

Now that is an idea I wish I thought of!

I think we have enough scumware products that track users habits and I'm not sure Google would really want to go down this route.

I have a script that logs in, parses the report, and sends a sms text message to my cell phone.

ok, not really, but it would be nice.

definition of "very soon":

More than one week.

(just keeping track of how long "very soon" ends up being)

I have this, it just sends me my daily total via "SMS". See my profile if you want to look at the code.

A real time revenue bar on the desktop!

Maybe a sound effect that goes "Ka Chink" every time you make another dollar.

That would be way too often for those folks gettin' checks via FedEx. It would sound like an alarm clock :)

Real time revenue bar is a great idea, it would save me from checking stats all day.

Come on guys, you're making me blush. I had no idea the idea would get such a warm reception, in fact I thought I might get laughed at just a bit.
What a great way to lock in a particular group of net savvy users to your deskbar, though.

Be just like watching share prices rise, except that you wouldn't see it go negative at the close ;-)

I think my biggest wish is to have the time of day that the stats were last updated displayed on the reports.

If we spent as much time improving our content and marketing as we do checking stats.....
