Better day today?

For those who've had it bad since December...

After a couple of extremely mediocre months (since Dec 18, to be exact), I'm noticing a discernable increase in my EPC today.

Don't want to get too excited about it but... has anybody else seen a surge in their earnings today?

I don't compare on a day by day basis. Too much natural flux. Too many variables.

January was much better than Christmas / December for me.

Same here. Several times better, in fact. And February should be even better than January, despite being a shorter month.

Seasonal factors can have a big influence on AdSense and affiliate revenues--as I try to remind myself in late fall and early winter when the travelers in my target audience stay home. :-)

I still find it funny people don't always grasp the concept of Adsense, and that for the main your payments reflect the current bidding on search terms.

As both an Adsense provider and an Adword purchaser, I see the trends for my key search words fluctuate seasonally by dramatic amounts - and not in the way most people would normally think.

For a lot of my terms, peoples web marketing budget will start to be spent "evenly" in May, with a peak in early December for Xmas and late January for Valentines. My adsense income per click has reflected this quite nicely.
