Impressions: about a hundred MORE than an hour and a half ago
Clicks: 10 LESS than an hour and a half ago
eCPM: even lower than an hour and a half ago
CTR: lower also
Earnings: EXACTLY THE SAME AS AN HOUR AND A HALF AGO.
I've never seen anything like that. Hopefully for all of us this means that something is going on and they are fixing it now.
Looking at the sites, the ads are much more nichey. They are not about the main page topic but about much smaller subjects briefly mentioned on the page. Subjects that are worthy of one tab in an adlinks block are dominating the ads. Definitely different ad presentation than normal, maybe that's something to do with it.
Wolf, are you sure you weren't just comparing the default daily report vs a detail or custom report results? Many times they are off by half an hour's results.
mikenolastname, for both times I was looking at the OVERVIEW only. I did not look at the advanced stats or anything else.
Now checking again, I've had the following:
Page impressions: 150 more than last report
CTR: down
Clicks: 1 more than last report but still 9 less than when I first checked 2 1/2 hours ago
eCPM: is way down
Earnings: up a whole 52 cents
I reported earlier that after my first stats check that I would change my title color. For whatever unknown and strange reason, if I have a low eCPM I always change my title color (put in a new channel with title color name so I can track results) and it always raises the eCPM.
I did this 2 1/2 hours ago and this channel is not even showing any page impressions. Please note that this channel is on ALL pages of my site (about 700 plus pages). Even though I am showing now about 160 more impressions than 2 1/2 hours ago, NO impressions are showing for the new channel. This is not possible.
There has definitely got to be a glitch here and hopefully will be corrected soon. Just not sure though why even if the stats are stuck or slow or whatever, why is my eCPM now less than half what it was yesterday and the day before?

a)some sort of clicks rechecking process going on, for hundreds of thousands of publishers, and God knows how many clicks piling, this could take a while.
b)a billing system update (less likely), which would take shorter and produce an early click dump, but expect a testing and rechecking delay before it goes live.
Whatever it is let's hope it is over soon.
