AdSense vs Embedded YouTube and Google Video

I have started building a website focussing on having a huge collection of Photoshop video tutorials, and I'm trying to add one every day. I have a lot of ideas on how to expand the site and make it more and more valuable as time goes on, but one of my ideas for expanding the site involves having a section sourcing other people's video tutorials from Google Video and YouTube (there are quite a few on there). What I want to know is if I'm allowed to put ads on my page if I'm displaying Google Videos or YouTube videos.

I see no problem with this.
Google even provides you the embed code to use on your site, so they're encouraging it.

google provides embed code for the videos, but that doesn't mean that it's always o.k. to put adsense up on the same page.

where you are going to run into problems is with copyright... put up a sample page, and ask adsense support for approval... please let us know what they say.

I have just started (30 days ago) a site with Interesting Google Videos where running AdSense. i think, as long as we do not violate TOS with content, there should not be any issue with G.

I also keen in knowing the reply from G.

Copyrighted Material
In order to avoid associations with copyright claims, website publishers may not display Google ads on web pages with MP3, Video, News Groups, and Image Results.

Now, one can argue that submitting a video to YouTube or Google and allowing its dissemination through the embedded feature would clear Google of any "associations with copyright claims" but here is where we get to the gray area. The exception makes sense, but if so, why doesn't Google policy note the exception?

I would write Google and ask, because if you're just slapping your Google AdSense ads on a page that only includes someone else's videos its got MFA and non-content page written all over it.

Be careful, unless Google -- or AdSense Advisor here -- tells you otherwise.

Hi SnowDevil,

Does nt look worth putting efforts in Videos Ads pages. I get EPC of .02$ for 4-5 clicks. May be as ur's is tech related, may get better EPC.
