Is a adsense for search field considered as an ad?

I would like to help my visitors when they come to the error page. I will say to them:

"Please go to our home page or search the web for the desired content ..."

Is this against the tos "no ad should be placed on error pages ... "

thx.

And another one:

Is it incentive if I say something like "Use search field to find more information" ..

Sorry if my questions are beginer like :) I always search the forum before asking.

I'm the good beginer :)

My gut reaction would be that the search box is not an ad because it doesn't look at the context of the page in order to decide what to display. However, for the sake of not getting banned by Google, I would check with them first!

Hi,

I think the answer will be "no" as they don't want ANY of their branded items on (SPAMmy) error pages (IMHO).

Is then also prohibited incentive to direct users toward using your search form ..

"Please use search form to find more content"

?
