No, that's what this thread is about.
However, others have stated to make fair money out of the FF referrals and to receive the full buck.
That's 10 times more than what G pays me up to now for the same referrals. I am kind of annoyed a little bit that G's definition of "up to $ 1,-" in reality means 10 cents in my case.
I make roughly 50% of my earnings from FF referrals..
I'd say about 95% are full $1.00 .. a few are .50, and even less (maybe 5 in the last month?) are .10 ..
What country are you guys in, or where does most of your traffic come from? I think G pays more for U.S. conversions..
Let's give this some more thought...
I see in your profile that your interests are tech related. Assuming your sites are also tech related, how about Google paying different amounts of money, depending on the subject of ones website?
What else could determine the payout?
Overall ctr, ecpm and conversions in ones account?
Up to now, all I knew is that payout was different per country where the referral came from...
I myself haven't had a single FF referral yet even after I implemented it 3 days ago and have had 10 clicks. Not one single referral! With my History site, however, is a different story so I believe it depends greatly on the niche and what people want. Also whether they have the time to change their browser or not.
I make $1 all the time with that site because it's an American-History related site so everyone speaks English and is American (at least in theory). If that isn't proof enough of the FF to country relation, tell me what is!
My site is tech related, and in my particular niche, most users dont already have firefox. My site also talks very highly of the advantages of FF, and i really 'push' it, so this explains my high CTR and conversion for FF .
