Do you think we will still have to wait 30 more days to receive payment for the December earnings? After that November check came early I was sort of hoping the next check would as well.

I was wondering when people would start in on December payment. We're only 3 days into January, relax. I expect it will come at the end of the month.

It is hard to know when they will be sending checks for December earnings, but it will be sometime in the January calendar month. It could come earlier, so watch your payment history to see when your payment shows up in your AdSense account.

I remember getting an email a few days ago saying that they'll send out cheques for the 2003 year-end payments. They give the opportunity to hold the payment if you send a request until January, 10. So i wouldn't epxect any payments earlier than ~15th. They further say that they'll now accept hold requests for every subsequent month(s) if you send the request to the 10th of each following month. Not bad! ;) No paypal or cc card payment yet though. :/

Some people got the November check early, but not all of us. I don't have mine yet.

I'm certainly not making any bets on when I'll see the December funds. Hopefully before March.

Seems to be taking them longer and longer to print and actually mail the checks.

I'm simply anxious to have the December checks sent earlier because it was my first month in AdSense, and hence my first check. It'll just be nice to hold in my hands for the first time :-).

It's no big deal. It's just a check, no different than getting a check from any other advertiser.

Sometimes, I wonder if people here have an altar and pray to Google :).

>>have an altar and pray to Google

What! I thought we all slaughtered a lamb every month and prayed to the google god

Forgive me Google for I have committed a sin
I am paying the price and I am hurting within

I made this mistake and I feel I could cry
But all that will come is a great big sigh

I built a site with a 100 pages
To be quite honest it took me ages

It was no mean task to achieve this place
Now all I can do is hang my head in disgrace

I got my site to the top on page one
I said to myself WOW well done old son

What I had not allowed for it getting so high
Was this fella they call "Googleguy"

He hangs around on Web Master World
Watching for tips and idea's being twirled

But deep down inside he is looking for spam
You know the type them who always scam

Those who try every trick like cloaking
I was asked but said you must be joking

Some say it's better to use CSS
With Netscape 4 it always looks a mess

They said why not try the guest book thing
I decided this was only a passing fling

A lot of sites are showing google adsense
But the amount getting kicked off is quite immense

They have not been abiding by the google terms
When they get the dreaded email it opens a can of worms

They start complaining that they did nothing wrong
And start adding comments at a forum where they belong

Well this is what I did to get to the top
And do you know it has all gone plop plop plop

I does not pay to break the Google law
Because your SERP they will withdraw

There's talk on the street google's going Pay Per Click
So you better get your sites submitted quick

If you don't you will pay the price
And the aftermath will not be nice

Your site will not appear anywhere on this planet
So it might as well be set in granite

Echoing the above, the 17th appearance of the Novemeber sent cheque, I think, was a one-off. If it happens again, great, if not, no drama. End of the month would be fine for me.

I do feel for the ones not getting cheques within a week of it appearing on the payment screen like we have been lucky to have in the UK. Hope you all catch up soon.

Lil_Red,

<It's no big deal. It's just a check, no different than getting a check from any other advertiser.>

The past [unmentioned amount of time] has been spent building the idea of the site, the content, all of the complicated back-end programming to make it work, and promoting it. Only at the beginning of December did I begin using AdSense, so it will be the first real revenue generated by the site since its "humble" beginnings :-).

eh, Google checks will come soon enough. Expect them to arrive in the Americas prob. end of Jan. 1st week of Feb. No need to pray to Google. If you are, well, get some help. A search engine can only do so much; and Google is a search engine plain and simple. ;)
