Well after seeing the Belgium's, Dutch and those in the UK get their cheques, i was getting a bit worried, but its seems the German post got off to a slow start, enjoying the hols to much, and its finally arrived today and banked already.

It appears that the international checks are printed and mailed in a separate dump, as they seem to always get there before they get to the west coast of the U.S.

I've noticed that my check date and postmark date tend to be 1 to 2 days later than those posted by international folks.

Nothing in Texas yet, but, I am at the border near Mexico. Texas is a big state. Mail takes days to get to some parts of the state.

going off topic here. But why does the USA have such a naff mail system? If they can get it in India before Texas?

I don't think it has anything to do with the US Postal system. If you look back on the first page of this thread, someone in Indiana received a check days ago.

Google is clearly not mailing all the checks on the same day, and they are mailing international checks first.

This is the kind of question that Adsense Advisor could address, but clearly that was a one day wonder sort of thing.

Got the Nov check - Santa Barbara CA

My guess with the non-us checks would be that they have to pay a different postage rate for domestic and international and they only want to change the postage meters once

Grrrr, I'm guessing that if they sent the check last year, but you get the check this year, when you do your taxes for last year, you will have to pay taxes on it even if you didn't get the check last year, since Google will include it in there tax form that they will mail out to us in a month!
