Our cumulative earnings have just gone past $100,000.

If it is of interest, our first day in early December 2004 earned $14 (we had put Adsense on one page) and the first month earned $1,800. This month will finish around $9,000.

Please join me in your preferred tipple this evening - I recommend a glass of Corbiere.

Also, if anyone else has reached an important milestone recently then please post it here. We've heard about some, from $100/day to making the UPS club to $1m/3 months, but I'm sure there are lots more, big and small, that are worth celebrating.

(i'll try not to say 'i hate you') - But, Congrats!

Yes indeed, i too recently reached a milestone.. my (NEW) site 'broke even' a few weeks ago, paying for the up-front costs of hosting the site for 18 months, so for the next 16 months, it's all profit..

Also, this week i broke $6/day 3 days in a row.. for me that was HUGHE..

You say you made $14 the first day? Was this an already established site? (please tell me it was so i dont have to get my stool and rope out of the closet)

Hi 21-blue
Congratulations from here in Australia!

This is my first post.

I guess I don't have any actual milestone to celebrate, but just a general pleasure in how our site income (and visitor numbers) is steadily increasing. Not in leaps and bounds, but steadily and consistently upwards. The site is about 5 years old, but has only had Adsense on for less than a year. Looking back to the early days of having Adsense on the site (mid 2005) it seemed like we'd never even make enough to ever get that first $100 cheque. The... all of a sudden, late last year... a cheque arrived! Then another the next month! Now we're almost to $400 (US) for this month! which is pretty good in Aussie dollars. :)

I know this is small compared to a lot of earnings, but to us it has been an exciting growth and a great financial help. And we're learning a lot! Both from our own experience and from gleaning the wealth of ideas and information from places such as this!

Now we're excited to launch another site that I've had in the planning & writing stages for ages. Something I really have a passion for, which I am sure will sustain my focus and enthusiasm for a long time to come and help produce a site I can have pride in... and hopefully attract a lot of visitors along the way. :)

Well, congratulations once again, to you and anyone else who feels like celebrating a big... or small, but equally important... achievement. Remember, small, consistent, constant steps can result in massive achievement!

I'll raise a glass of pepsi max (diet) or wheatgrass to you! :)

Anthea.

Actually yesterday was a record day for me, $53.60!

My first day I made $1.03!

To the newbies - work hard, don't try to "cheat the system" and come back here often for lots of good ideas/advice!

Congrats 21-blue!

Just baby steps for me but that baby walked fast.

Last Feburary I put up the ads and lo and behold earned a massive 650 dollars---whoopee! Went upward all year until November when the baby statred to backpeddle---here's hoping it gets going in the right direction sooner better than later.

I am not there yet (78k) but working on it! As a bonus I didnt spend any of it yet. And will not do until I get past 100k.

Yes, it was site established in the mid '90s, to satisfy one of our clients who insisted that we go on email and have a website rather than send him paper stuff.

The site grew naturally as we started to use it to support our mainstream business. I only thought about making money from it in September 2004 (prompted by all the pensions and endowments crises). I tried Amazon and one or two other affiliate schemes, but they didn't amount to much.

Since December 2004 we've managed to triple our number of visitors. And Markus' thread has sparked an idea that fits with our business and my interests, and it could help us grow substantially again. So this year could prove exciting.

We've tried starting other sites, but it is so hard - it feels like pushing a car, it's really hard to get it moving that first inch. It feels much easier to grow the existing site than get our other sites going, but I hope eventually those other sites will build up some momentum.

grates!

My milestone will be I can stay home full time. and I know it's still long way to go. Whether I make enough from G first, or I am too old and can't work anymore first....

Congratulations 21_blue! (what, no poem?)

I reached my milestone of $5/day this past month. Definitely not living off AdSense yet, but it does pay for hosting and lunch every day.

Plus, there's a weird thrill to waking up in the morning and knowing you made money while sleeping.

Tebrikler (it means "congratulations" in turkish) 21_blue. Maybe some people dislike this type of messages because they are so envy; but I'm sure that many people are encouraged by these type of messages. I wish I post a message like that one day.

21, thousand congrats to you! Indeed, I also miss the poems, but it looks like you have spent your time wisely;-)
My milestone would be to escape from my current Adsense crises and have another $10,- day again:-(

Five dollars a day
May seem a long way
From the sort of sum
That is made by some

But, baby steps come before
Walking, running and more
In fact, stumbling in his nappy
Michael Johnson was once happy!

Thank you for your congratulations, all.

I dont usually get involved in these threads, but I guess its about time I do.

Thanks to everyone here. This month I will break 4000.00 Never in my wildest dreams did I think it would be like this. My first month was around 150.00 in Dec 04 and 16 months later here I am setting my next goal at 5k.

Just so you know I have had nearly 3 million ad impressions this month. I am not in a high paying area but volume will make up for that.

Cheers, everyone.

It'd be really cool if you've published your approximate [note: not exact] earnings for all days/months since you've began Adsense.

Why would you want that info?
