Adsense is full of hopefuls looking to get something for nothing. We know this is true considering the number of people who try to cheat the system, those complaining about their blogspot blogs not really making anything. Some people read the figures others are making and get jealous when what they're making is only a pittance of what the next man is. However, sometimes we forget that not every Adsense member is running their sites with the same mindset as we are.
How much would you say you invest monetarily into your adsense site(s) monthly? What kind of things does this money go toward? i.e. hosting, advertising, etc. And how large is your ROI?
Plenty of tme invested, writing, and freely given hard won useful information though written and uploaded for fun about 8 years ago. 3.9k monthly for two years plus since adsense. Not modified or updated in 8 years.
You cant game the system, you need a quality site that people want. Not everybody is capable of that. Adsense is not for everyone in the same way that not every writer is a best seller.
If I were not so lazy I could have quadrupled that over the last 2.5 years.

Some people say it takes money to make money. So the question is how do you make money when you have none in the first place?
If you don't have money, invest time, when you start making money buy time... its a game!

My site is 2 months old. Last week i recouped all my investment with Adsense, so now it's allll profit for the next 16 months..

My car is with 90% company usage in the bookkeeping.
About 1500km per month AdSense related driving.
For example, I just go today for a 4 day travel to a very important exhibition.
If you are in adsence for the money then you will be disapointed, because in the long run you can't trust anything. But if you are in it for the enjoyment of having a site then the money is just a side benefit.
Actually although I make enough off my site to get a check every month, I don't know what to spend it on to feed back to the site.
Once the basic expenses are met, the last thing I bought was a $5 chat room program.
