Forget the other threads, pull your heads out of the clouds, put the rope away and climb off the stool, Uncle Bill's going to show you how simple it is just to hit $200/day.

Here's the math of how this is done:

$8.34/hour for 24 hours
42 clicks averaging $0.20 ea. per hour.

Thats right, no high paying keywords even, just averaging out to $.20 each.

How many page impressions does it take Uncle Bill?

Well, if you have 15,000 page impressions (not ad impressions) getting about 8% CTR that's roughly 1,200 clicks a day which @ $0.20/click comes to $240 a day.

That's right, ONLY 15,000 pages impressions.

So many visitors does that take Uncle Bill?

Well, if each visitor only views an average of 3 pages then 5,000 visitors a day could do the trick.

Really?

ABSOLUTELY!

The trick is to pick a topic where people are actively looking for things and the ads become just as important as your content, so they're clicking here and there all over the place to find what they're looking for.

Now go work on your traffic, then get to bed, it's late, sheesh.

hi Guru5571,

thanks for your advise.

i block quite a couple of MFA site now. i can see some improvement in my earning may be about 10 to 20%. but the problem is i only able to block those that i can see from here. the ads that you see may not the one i see here. any idea or is it a possiblity for me to get a precompiled list of MFA site?

i spend about 3 hours aday to my site. and make about $20 a day now. compare to $6000/month i only the 10% :(

Jean,

thanks for your input.

after i calculated, everage i get only 1.5 cent per click :(
if i can get 20 cent per click i think is more than enough for me. that's $100/day.
to me that's enough for me to quit my job and concentrate on this :)
i think i will change the page content a see how later.

I think your numbers are overly optimistic. I'd suggest running assumptions on 4% CTR and $.10 EPC. I think that quadruples your traffic estimates. Not 15K impressions a day, but 60K a day. I'm not saying it's impossible, just a more realistic number to target. I get about 30K impressions a day.

My niche is news, not product info, etc, so keep that in mind.

AH HA! See, you proved my point, that people aren't in the buying mood reading the news vs. a product site so my CTR may be overly optimistic in that situation for sure.

Augment the news with a free classifieds section and stick AdSense on the side, I'll be the CTR would smoke assuming you can get anyone to post classified. With your amount of traffic if could take off.

FWIW, the $6000/month was just a stepping stone and you all now have a clue what it took to get that from AdSense. Currently, I'm past that and struggling to get into the UPS club but can't quite get over the $300/day hump, close but no cigar.

However, unless my traffic tanks, I'm hoping to make a declaration of UPS club in the next couple of months so wish me luck ;)
