I got a reply inside 24 hours, 2.5 years ago...

Give it a day or 3 and try again!
You havent got any traffic yet so whats the hurry?

That's weird. I subscribed two weeks ago and was accepted in less than 24 hours.

Took me about a week to two weeks to get accepted myself.
Just give it some more time, you'll get a notice eventually.

I applied to AdSense almost exactly the same time as wariental did (9 days ago), and I too have not received a response from Google.

Website is ten days old
- how are you expecting to be profiting from this?

miedmark , did you read my second post?

My questions asks How long it takes for adsense to be approved.

I didn't say I expect to profit from the website. I merely want to play around with ad placement and html tweaking to better fit the design of my website.

wariental - no problem. Just be careful how you play around with this - since traffic might be low and most of your impressions will be your own. Now, concentrate on getting some inbound links, good content and wait.

Gotcha , I have one or two pr2 sites pointing to me already and I sent out about 100 link exchange requests today, to all different websites, so I should have a few more tommorow.

I will continue to work on inbound links and content over the next few months. :)

wariental, since we are both in the same situation, would you mind posting on this thread when you get approved? I'll be sure to do the same.

When I signed up a few days ago I had a reply within a few hours. I was pretty surprised.

Well still heard nothing.

Are you allowed to re-apply?

When I applied I didn't hear back for a while. I wrote them and found I had been accepted but somehow I didn't get the letter. So write them again.

I broke down and decided to contact AdSense support asking them why the approval process is taking so long.

I hope it doesn't take another 2 weeks to get a response.

Update: After contacting Google, they approved my account within 12 hours.

So if anyone else is experiencing long approval time, I would definitely suggest contacting AdSense support.
