I know some of you are still suffering from bad earnings. But that's not what this thread is about. Note the emphasis in the title, it's on the word MY.

I just want to know if your earnings are doing fine as ever, or if they suffered a weekend dip and have recovered.

So far, Monday is on track to being another good day. If the rest of the week follows in this manner, then everything's normal and this weekend was just another fluctuation.

Looking real good today, eCPM and CTR at record high.
Yesterday was norm, Friday and Saturday was down 30%

Even though the bottom line is up, the adsense stats are all over the place. Kind of looks like a huge click dump for one of my sites.

We'll see what this week brings.

I was one of the one's reporting a big crash on Saturday and Sunday. The sun's shining again.

Saturday: Noticeably lower than average. (A bit stronger than my lowest last month.)

Sunday: Better than average.

Monday so far: About average.

Overall, things look pretty normal: on a par with February but a little weaker than January, probably because I'm not running AdSense on many pages as I was doing two months ago.

I did notice a small dip on Sat and then discovered that *I* was the dip that resulted in a 1% CTR drop. I moved my announcement about my new RSS Feed somewhere else on the page to a more permanent subscription location and TA DA! it started running ads about RSS feeds, sigh, easy enough to fix though.

OK, OK, you CSS freaks don't even start on me about getting rid of tables which caused this little glitch.

Anyway, Feb was MY best month EVER and fell short of crossing a new thousand dollar barrier by $1.90, what a hoot. This month is on target to probably break that barrier if I don't do anything stupid on my home page again as just losing as little a day from a minor glitch like that can make all the difference.

Don't worry people, if you're making less money all of a sudden on your site so is Google as they have no benefit to paying you less no matter how your tightly wound foil hat and signals from space aliens say otherwise. ;)

A very good (borderline great) day today; however, it will take a number of these days to make up for my weekend loss.

Whatever it was, somehting sure happened for a lot of folks. I bet it might have had nothing to do with Adsense, but maybe with G's datacenter. There were a few threads on digg about it over the weekend too.

Mine started to pick back up Sunday night. I wonder what caused the sharp drop for so many people.

My stats started to recover yesterday, can't say what today will bring. However, I am still at about 50% of my december level. But there could be many reasons for that...

My earnings are still off, if I depended on this income I'd be upset.

Very bad (again) today, ECPM down the toilet. I need a magnifying glass to see my earnings. Yesterday was fine and i was under the impression that things are almost back to normal. No they are not...I’m starting to think we might be seeing a new trend brewing here.

My earnings have been steadily upwards all week except for the 25% dip over the weekend. Today is up again along the levels of last week.

If this is a trend, then I'll take a double shot of whatever it is.

Today is already my best day ever, and the weekend was OK. However, I'm not going to attribute that to a system-wide something, because I unblocked some advertisers last week, and that may well be the cause of my good results....

Looks like I spoke to soon. The ecpm has actually gotten worse for one of my sites. And it really is just one of them, the rest seem to be fine. Probably a smart pricing thing, except I thought smart pricing was applied across the board. Or one of the Google tests (that isn't working so well for this site).

Weekend Slump All Over Again.

Last Friday, Saturday and Sunday were the worst days for my site in years (normal impressions). Monday Tuesday and Wednesday were the best days ever in over 2 years.

Now I find my earnings starting today are back to the low levels of last weekend. No change in traffic, higher clicks but lower eCPM.

Is it just the advertisers are bidding less for the weekend?

andrea99

Well I can't call it a slump today. Slightly under average perhaps, but after a real slump slightly under average is a relief.

I still haven't recovered fully. Still down a third everyday the entire week.
