what is a page impression?

If my space for google ads contains 3 ads, and a person views my page, is that 1 page impression or 3?

Strange day. I've got my highest ever page impressions, but 0 clicks. A few days ago, I had my 2nd lowest page impressions, but my highest clicks. I'm only 2 weeks into this, so I guess weird stuff like this should happen.

Self explanatory really, a page impression is an impression of the page, no matter how many adverts there are on there. So yes, 3 ads will still be 1 impression.
