How old is your website? If it's been around for just a month, then I'd say that $175 is great. If it's been around for quite some time already and you just added Adsense this past month, then it's harder to say if it's great or not.

Yes, it's good, especially comparing with my results.
I have a 6 years old site with ~15000 daily page views. For a full February month I have a less amount.

You did better than me in my first month. In my first month I made under $100. Now I make over $8,000.

175 for a first month is good, just on the fact that I've seen many people on here say it has taken them a couple of months to get their first check.

$175 for the 1st month is good. If you just add AS in Feb10, then it is almost a $9/day which is better than what I did - 0.04 to .08/day for about 1 month.

But if it is an old site with 4000PI for Feb I think you need more promotion

Over $5000 in January, and over $8000 in February. If my traffic continues to be steady for the next 3 hours, I might even hit $9,00 as I am approaching $400 today.

Well congratulations, and I say that sincerely :) However my only thought is just, if you make XYZ in one month, to say "now I make XYZ" as if it's a what you make regularly comes off to me funny. I made about 9 myself in December (thanks due in part to a particularly expensive Ford truck campaign), but that's not what I regularly see. Just my thoughts on it.

But keep it up, nice to see someone else doing well.

It took me over a year to make my first $100.00 with AdSense

And I am [ supposed to be ] a professional in the business. Granted my site with AdSense is a hobby site.

If I made $175.00 in a month I would be more excited than if I landed a contract 20x that amount.

I think this is/should be called AdSense Obsession which I admit I have.

Heh, I can top that. 20,000 daily page views, 1,000 uniques/day. $30/month. If only I were in a different industry...
