Cheers to you! 17.000 must be a whole lotta cash in India. Is that the amount one could buy a little apartment for in your country? If so, you better continue this way and buy a mansion in a few years!
Yes in INDIA it is pretty good money( 1$= 44 Indian Rs/-). We can buy a small apartment here . I am just 22 years old guy still need to achieve more. Daily 14 to 16 hours i work on my site.
If I may, I would like to ask you how many site impressions you have every day?

Egads, the exchange rate was only $1 = 31 to 33 Rs when I was there in '95!
$17K in 6 months is nice but keep working and you'll quickly break that in 2-3 months, it's very doable.
Will you be kind enough to give your experiences and tips in this forum, so others benefit from your valuable suggestions and ideas.

it was about $1=54 in 2002 :-)
Many people here are somewhat more interested in knowing how you made that money, not that you actually made it. It may be helpful of you to give others some tips. You don't have to spill the beans and inform others what your site is about. You could let other members know about your ad placement, testing, colours of ads etc. Just remember -- sharing is caring.

I have to confess that I also have been lurking for years. My website is over 6 years old and I have been using Adsense for over 2 years now. I have been reading your posts here for many years but have not had the time to get involved. I was unemployed two years ago and thinks to Google I still am. I was in Management earning $50,000 plus a year. Now I am earning 4 times that mostly from Adsense. I expect you will here more from me in the future.
Happy to hear that people of Indian subcontinent are also earning from Adsense.

I was a "lurker" of webmaster world for some time before I actually joined. Last year, I made about 29K from Adsense (checks received for March through November). Also, about 22K of that 29K came from earnings made in August through November, a 4 month period.
I say, congrats to AdsenseIndia for his accomplishment. Could he be lying? Sure. However, I think some people are quick to jump the gun.
