Blue_Fin I would imagine that policy relates to spammy seo pages that contain nothing but adverts for other sites. A classified listing is entirely different to this.

I would take it to mean ANY page that is just advertisements. When in doubt, it's best to send an email to Google and ask them.

This is why I'm asking here -- wondering how it works out in practice instead of "by rule". I've seen classified ad websites with Adsense and I was wondering if they were doing it in violation of the rules or not and how the rules are actually applied (and if a classified ad is considered an "ad"). For example, Adwords ads are on Froogle, which is nothing but ads...

My site is mostly classifieds and contains a directory to boot and it was accepted with no qualms.
