Multiple AdSense accounts on one site?

Basically, I have a website. It does alright with AdSense. It also has this little forum. A friend of mine has been running the forum for me without me having to ask, for free, for a while now. The forum doesnt generate much, only maybe $10 a day. I was wondering if it's alright to have, say, a second AdSense account (his) to get money for the forum, and I still have my main account for the main site.

I know you could say... "Just pay keep track of how much revenue the forum gets and pay him that every month." Well, that's an idea.. but it seems easier to do it this way, if It's "legal."

Anyone know if we're allowed to do this? Thanks.

email Google. It is hard to say when and if they will allow something like this.

I'd be really careful with that sort of thing. If you really trust the other person then its probably not too bad. But watch out for banned by association!

Ok, from your comments I won't go through with this idea.

I actually asked him if he was interested, and he said no, he likes to work for free.

I guess that simplifies things ever further :)

Can I hire him?

Insofar as I remember from a posting a year or two ago it is possible to use two Adsense accounts on the same site.

Has that T&C changed?

... he likes to work for free.

Send him to me! I'll double his salary and give you a 20% agent fee! :)

so you wanna outsource just one forum?

here's what we're doing:

http://albis.vetsin.com/ [albis.vetsin.com]

click on the unilluminated flags to see what i mean.

each module is owned by the member maintaining it, and the google ads run under his/her account number.

google's market dominance, combined with their prioritization of localization, has enabled creative uses of adsense such as this. no matter where in the world you are, you can get your checks from google.

imagine trying to set up a network to pay contributors in 50 countries! it would be an administrative nightmare. our project wouldn't have been possible without adsense. the only alternative would be to turn it into a wiki.

i think micro-ownership of content and remuneration via adsense is a far more credible content development model than wiki.
