(I tried running AdSense on my "legacy site" for aspiring freelance writers, just to cover my expenses, but nearly all of the ads were for vanity presses and other shady services, so I pulled the ads.)
I was just wondering how many sites does an average webmaster own.
What does one consider as average? I would guess that most have 3-5 maximum. All my sites were bought with my niche business in mind way before Adsense, and nearly Google for that matter, was even considered.
How many do you own?
100+, hopefully another 20+ when .eu comes along.
and how many of them display adsense?
All except for the test site and then Adsense is included at the last moment when ready for launch.
I do very well indeed (thank you Google) on one of the sites, moderately well on the associated blog, and disastrously on a site I set up to try and earn a few bucks in an unfamilar niche.
The others don't carry advertising, some because ads don't work on them, some because ads are not appropriate on the sites.
I don't know if there is a limit, or what the limit is. But we all know that Google are looking for auto-generated junk sites and zapping them from Adsense.
Are they zapping them from AdSense, or just from Google search results?
