A simple 301 redirect should do the trick:

Redirect 301 www.yoursite.com/yourpage.html www.mysite.com/mypage.html :-D

Simply put that line in your .htaccess file (sticky me for real url), and you'll never have to worry again :-)

As a "regular" publisher, it can't be removed without violating the TOS.

I've seen premium publishers without it(very large sites serving millions of impressions...like major newspapers, etc).

I don't think it's worth too much thought in the grand scheme of things :)

Yes, there are probably ways to "remove" (hide) ads by google. However - doing so will probably get you kicked out of the adsense program. I don't think any one is going to help you do that - and it's for the best.

it would be cool if us hackers who actually know #*$! and dont just copy any paste fancy code and use dreamweaver to make our web sites could like use a parameter for the adsense blocks to remove this text

It's against the AdSense TOS (Terms of Service). There's no "legal" way to do something that's against the TOS.

You're not important enough to warrant special treatment! ;)

If you really want to hide it, you could use CSS to position an image over the text. Google will almost certainly not like this!

Had a client doing this when we took them on - it was one of the things we strongly advised them not to do.

B, you shouldn't want to remove it. Why? Because it's GOOD for your visitors to know that those are ads. That may slightly reduce the likelihood of their clicking on them, but when they do click, they will do so with better knowledge of what they are clicking. And that means that they are more likely to convert for the advertiser, which means that you get a better EPC (smart pricing rewards as well as punishes.)

Don't stew about it. Google requires that text, so just live with it, and work with what you CAN change.
