I have not joined any but apparently you join then view other members sites and click on any adsense sites you are interested in. Other members view your sites in exchange.
I know of one person who has joined one and is making some money from the program. I think they have the option to upgrade to have your site seen more often.
Does anyone know if Google approves these type of sites.
Hmm...let's see...would Google want to allow criminals to steal money from their advertisers...boy, that's a tough question.
Ok don't shoot the messenger. I don't appreciate your patronising attitude As I said I am not a member of any of these sites. I did warn the person that had joined that I did not think it would be approved by Google. If this is the type of response people get for asking a question I am surprised anyone posts on this unfriendly site.
Its just when I saw that several of these type of sites were springing up. I though they may have had some arrangement with Google to allow them to operate. As I am not a member I am not familiar with their exact method of operating or terms.
i recently emailed Google and asked their opinion about publishers joining traffic exchange programs. they told me to be careful in joining traffic exchanges because not only will i artificially inflate my ad impressions but my clicks as well. and i was just asking about a regular traffic exchange and not about the traffic exchange youre talking about which gives attention to Google ads which is against the TOS.
The only ones I know looking for this kind of traffic are the people selling traffic exchange.
Get paid as you surf kind of schemes serves only those wishing to artificially inflate their traffic stats, and for sure your prospect shopper or subscriber is not among those looking to earn few cents through surfing the web, gut feeling 101 usually answers it for you, if in doubt read the TOS, if still unsure contact Google.
