But, from memory it should say on the check what the validity period is. From some companies it is 90 days, for others it is 180 days.
But, look at the check and it should tell you the validity period. If not, assume 180 days.
You sound like me, can't handle the old-fashioned paperwork. I suggest you move to EFT ;)
EFT is Electronic Fund Transfer. Its an Adsense payment option wherein your Adsense payment will be deposited directly to your bank account instead of a regular check.
In principal you are right, in practice you are wrong.
Checks are a "pain in the rear"!
My nearest bank (or ATM) is 30 minute's drive away, that makes the process a 1.5 hour round trip. Generally speaking I could have made more money in the 1.5 hours than it cost to bank the checks........okay, in practice I ask my wife to do it, while she is shopping!
Google checks need to be cashed within 180 days! You will get the money if you achieve that goal! For me it is sometimes a close call, not failed yet though ;)
EFT is Electronic Funds Transfer. If you live in a country where EFT is available, you can have your earnings deposited directly in your bank account each month, so you'll no longer have to worry about cashing paper checks.
