The 22nd, two days ago, was the beginning of the end for the September to December AdSense run.

This period is probably our best throughout the year.

Of course there is income all year, and we'll keep growing, but these months are always lucrative and a lot of fun.

Rest for the remainder of the year, but in January we will re-tool and come back full force.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all.

It is a shame to see this boom-time come to an end once again. Sure was fun. Ah well, back to normal for another 9 months. Hope everyone had a good run!

What is really strange on my site is that it has nothing to do with anything seasonal. Well, it is seasonal, but not private sector seasonal.

However, I see the same trends. I think it has more to do with errant hits on my site where people prefer the ad to the content and advertisers paying more per click "in season."

Whatever it may be, to quote Joe Walsh:

"I can't complain, but sometimes I still do."

Happy Holiday of your choice!

Some of us are on different cycles. My travel-planning site has been experiencing its annual slow but but steady decline since October, but things should start exploding right after Christmas or New Year's as people think about next year's vacations. (I've been seeing this pattern for years. Planning trips seems to be a popular way of coping with post-holiday depression!)

We've already planned our February trip to the Caribbean. I'm already tired of all the snow we've gotten and check out the tropical photos on the hotel site in anticipation of the trip. I love to travel!
