What affects eCPM?

Some ads pay less?

I read in some post that you can block ads that pay less - will this increase my eCPM? It varies quite a bit, between $10 and $50.

Some folks says blocking ads can increase eCPM, others disagree.

My own experience is mixed. I haven't done a lot of blocking, but have done some from time to time.

Most often my eCPM has gone down as a result, but a small number of times it's gone up. But when it has gone up, the uptick hasn't lasted long, then the eCPM has dropped again.

Hardly worth the effort for me except in extreme circumstances.
