I've been with Adsense for about 18 months. After the first month adsense was on target for 99% of my pages. The past three weeks, however, was miserable and I find myself pulling out my hair repositioning ads, rewriting articles, etc... NOTHING worked!

So... I decided to contact support. They looked at it and replied that they did not find any issues with relevency and that everything was on target. WRONG!

It took two emails and samples of specific pages before I got a reply saying they apologized for any inconvenience and that they had fixed the problem. Sure enough, 99% of my pages now are on target.

BTW, the support was fantastic. Not only did they fix the problem, they replied within hours on all my enquiries.

I'm not sure what the problem was. It just seems like a switch can be turned on or off on Google's end. My revenue plummeted 75% in the 2-3 week time frame that ads were irrelevent. i.e. auto ads on health topics, and vice versa.

I've read some threads where some people were complaining about ad relevency and CTR plummeting. Maybe contacting support will help. Hey... just my 2 cents. Whatever they did, ads were right on instantly.

That is a good reference, maybe we should bump the irrevlant ads on our browser and request a check (or fix?).

I had a problem recently where my blog main page was showing psa's, but all the constituent posts were showing well targetted ads. Emailed them, they apologised for the problem and fixed it.

They are obviously having algo problems.
