Hi,
When checking in this morning, i noticed that my earnings had risen dramatically. But i only received one click.

The pages i have a still new, and sandboxed in MSN and Yahoo and google wont know of them at all. So traffic is very low if not almost stalling.

Yet ive been getting a click here and there, all normal. But then this morning i noticed that i had gotten 1 click during the night and that one click generated $ 1.83 on its own!.. Sounds a little high, and havent heard of such levels, i normally get around 0,10 to 0,20 pr click on my pages..

Yeah, I had this in my first month too. Received 1 click for over $20, only had 16 page views that day too...

Best eCPM I've ever had... lol

It happens to me all the time.
Usually in the morning I get some leftovers from the day before. I guess they are just clicks that have been reviewed during the night. It sometimes results in 0 pageviews but for example 3 clicks, $ 3,- all together. My guess is G takes a good look at these expensive clicks before they put it into your stats.

Just happened to me.

In one ad channel
2 impression, 2 clicks and 40 times more than usual earnings.

I have about 170 ad channels, so I can view small parts of my totals.

Just an other new highest ever for a single click.
Just 50 times my normal average EPC.

Never thought such extem EPC really happens.

Google pays you per/click depending on your CTR AND how much that given company pays for advertising. Some companies are paying much less for less advertisement. Where as some are pay much more. Somewhere within google.ca I read that this is how your earnings are adjusted. Certain sites just plain will pay google more per click. Where as others do not.

No, seems I was so suprised, that I even could not calculate.

100 times my average EPC for a single click.

It's almost certainly just a reporting glitch. Impressions, clicks and revenues are not necessarily reported in sync.

My CPM and CPC are always highest early in the morning and trend down throughout the day. This may not be exactly correct, but what what I've come to conclude is that Google holds back some revenue-producing clicks in order to do a deeper analysis overnight.

Is it possible you are showing a mix of CPM and CPC adverts? So you are getting $X from CPM (regardless of clicks)?
