"what im trying to say is im getting the money before the advertisers are all drained out (from competition) they have a budget, by my time 1am -8am they are cheap and replaced by worse paying ads"

I am sorry but I didn't read all the posts in this thread, it is getting rather long cause mr. Guru's fanclub is getting larger every day:-)

My question is: doesn't Adwords spread the advertisers budget over the entire day?
So at the end of the (Google) day there should be just as many good clicks to be found as early in the morning? Guru, isn't that what Google claims, advertisers budgets should not dry out at the end of the day cause Google is dosing the budget throughout the day?

I'm not too sure what zikos is on however it seems to be affecting him whatever it is!...Anyway...

My question is: doesn't Adwords spread the advertisers budget over the entire day?

maybe in america adsense and america wake up togetheR?

My understanding is that advertisers can start and finish their advertising whenever they like and also target to whichever countries they desire.

I'm sure an advertiser will tell us if I'm incorrect.

With my own site, member based, I have my own login set up not to see ads (as to avoid any accidental or tempt of clicking). However before I log in, I'll check out a few ads that are displaying.

In my experience, after the Adsense day begins, the CPM ads if any, rotate more during these first hours of the day, and sparingly during the remainder of the day.

So while adwords daily budgets are supposed to be averaged out throughout the day, some sites are receiving more traffic at different parts of the day, so there's more concentration of the ads to the few active sites.

If 100 sites with adsense all target the same topic, and only 10 of them receive traffic during the first 5 hours of the day, during those 5 hours, there's only competition with 9 other sites to deliver those ads, as opposed to 99, so you'll most likely get better ads and better earnings during those times provided your CTR stays generally the same throughout the day.

My site is rather broad, with about 1,000,000 page views a day now, but I generate anywhere between $150 and $350 a day right now.

Are you nominating yourself for the lowest eCPM?

I'd be in the UPS club every day with your page views and my eCPM!

Nope, not the lowest eCPM, but the lowest CTR

Does Adsense reset differently for different accounts?
Im in the UK and I'm pretty sure Adsense starts at 9am on the dot.

My earning do not spike early, they tend to spread over the 24 hours. However most of my visitors are in the US and Cannada.

stuartc1 8 am start , logs are 1 hour behind start to see them 9am .. thats my belief

mr fern we both have investigated and concluded that the first hours are the best :)

And yes advertisers can pause anytime they like so maybe they have a schedule :D

8am UK time is when the new day starts in Google land. By that time most of the stats are in, though I might see the odd click or two appear after that sometimes.

Most of my visitors are from the US, and my best hours are evening / early AM UK time.

I have 120,000 pageviews and make about 180$ ...

From what I've noticed clicks early in the day pay more, then eCPM starts dropping the whole day. At some point before the end of the day it hits bottom, but at the end of the day it goes up. Like a rollercoaster. :)

I gotta get that dang CTR higher, right now only 1.5% but shouldn't be impossible to double it, I've already managed to double my daily revenue since last month by testing ad placement and units with the same traffic :)

For a while after posting you'll see "Owner Edit" next to your post. Then, once that time is over, you'll be stuck with that post. (Otherwise, we would see a LOT of owner edits, I presume. :-)

These fluctuations are blowing my mind. My account stays in a range that rarely fluctuates this much.
