"AdSense ad link units are a very smart way to find space and increase ad exposure. In some cases, these units have provided as much as a 300 percent increase in revenue."

AdSense has now split case studies into beginner and advanced, which makes it easier for publishers who are well immersed into testing AdSense to focus on those case studies that detail advanced techniques, rather than just the general basic case studies.
A total of three new case studies were added.
The most interesting thing about that for me is that Google is obviously completely cool about you having 4 websites of very closely related content and linking them together (although the linking has been done in a sensible, restrained way of course).
There must be a fair degree of content overlap between those sites - personally, I would have been a bit worried about duplicate content penalties - but then again, I do tend to be a bit paranoid!
I also find it interesting that under such close scrutiny they didn't bust her for violating the TOS by having more than 3 ad units on a single page... tsk, tsk Including the home page!
I notice she uses link units, I've been experimenting with these in the same space but have not been that impressed so far.
Just some random comments.
Does anyone know about this ad format? I'm assuming it's only available to selected publishers.
I really found a big bump with those under-leaderboard links. I think they perform really well. I also really push borderless ads, they help a ton too!
For us the balance is keep adwords on the page when our internal ad sales team sells ads which pushes google out.
