Hi,

I submitted my site 3 weeks ago and have heard nothing back from google. When I log into google\adsense it says -

'Account Not Active
An AdSense account does not exist for this login, as your application is currently in review. Within a week of your application date, we'll review your application and follow-up with you via email. Once you are approved to join AdSense, you'll be able to log in to your account and get started.'

I've contacted them twice but no reply.

The domain I have is new ( 4 weeks old ) so i'm wondering are new domains effected by the google 'aging process' for adsense?

I'm starting to wonder if in a previous life my domain was banned by google.

Is it worth me applying again with another email address or would that just muddy the waters?

Any advice gratefully received.

Do not apply again, wait for their response. In the meantime work on adding content to your new site.

Thanks for the reply Petra.

I thought it might be lack of content but presumed I'd get an email back saying so.

Anyone know what the minimum amount of content required is?

I've got 20 pages at the moment.

I know of a new one recently approved in about 36 hours with 1 page with some affiliate links on it.

Are you sure it wasn't someone who already had an active adsense account and set up a new site.

Surely you need more than one page to be excepted?

The one I am talking about was a completely new account, no other sites on it. It was approved around 20 october and had only 1 page based on a simple affiliate style template.

Try contacting them using another email address. I had a similar problem, and it turned out their messages were bouncing back. Do NOT reapply.

Thanks for the advice.

Is it best to send an email to the google confirmation email address ( adsense-uk@google.com)or via 'Contact Us' from the google\adsense page.

TIA
