I'm from Romania, I have an english-language website. Someone posted a link to my site a few minutes ago on a very popular Romanian forum that is related to the subject of my site.
I'm expecting a huge increase in click numbers, what should I do? Inform Google, ban Romania's class of Ip's?
Could this be a problem for my account, due to many clicks coming from my country?
Please someone answer, ASA it would be great if you had any advice.
Thanks!
I would be more concerned about having a "squeeky clean" adsense integration on the site. A really huge jump in impressions and clicks may trigger a manual peak at your site by an official adsense employee.

malasorte: Don't panic and enjoy the traffic and revenue, work on getting those new visitors to enjoy and bookmark your pages.
Would you really want to take the chance? Hopefully Google would try to determine if there is any link between the poster and the site targeted. All I can say is that I hope no such post happens with regards to my domains.
Look at it the other way. If it WAS safe to post on another domain to go to site X (your site) and click the heck out of the ads wouldn't everyone looking for easy money be doing it?
Generally such posts would be placed by one of two parties- someone looking to defraud Adsense or someone looking to get someone kicked out of Adsense.
My guess is that Google would kick first and ask questions later.

If I post in a forum an invitation to click on my competitors Google ads I can get them into trouble?
I thought your responsibility starts and ends at your own domain(s)
First, this could be considered fraud. Second, I would imagine that if Google found out that this was done by one competitor against another, they would immediately terminate the poster's AdSense account.
I would avoid this at all costs.
