@Micha, i couldnīt figure out if thismobil traffic is real traffic byjust mismatched US serps? Like we see foreign entries in german serps? Could this be? If so, then the user metric will get horrible.

@martin Good question, but I can only speculate. What I do know is that these annoying bots are constantly crashing my web servers, and they're doing it again right now. Stealing content and crippling the infrastructure this really can't go on.

It just keeps getting worse and worse. My USA and UK traffic are -44% and -40% respectively this morning.
All sources of traffic are down hugely...yesterday search ended -13%, direct -17%, and AI - 35%. Considering that UK traffic has been reduced 33%-45% for a week I have to consider it a permanent drop, and not just a one day affair. It also seems that the AI traffic party is over, I am assuming that's because Google is limiting the results to one page so chatGPT and the others can no longer refer the same amount of traffic?

@MIW amazonaws has gone berserk across some of my sites today fetching / verifying every single page.
Why? These are not ecommerce sites promoting any Amazon product plus amazonaws also threw-in a Singaporean bot just for good measure!
Localisation has become the de facto standard for my widgets. The couple of other quality widget info sites are also sliding down the SERPs now.
