I've been a SMM manager for quite a long time and now I'm also an online <snip> store owner. But I have a problem - even though I have great skills in social media content, I'm not really into SEO. What are the best ways to improve it? My store is almost never on google even when I searn for it, how can I "move"it higher? Do I use some tools? The platform offers some SEO tools but I wanna hear other people's opinion, experiences or advices

Hi Emily_J and welcome to WebmasterWorld [webmasterworld.com]

There are a lot of people whose sites have been successfully online for well over a decade seeing the same kinds of problems, you can see their comments every month in our Google Search Observations thread here: [webmasterworld.com...]

Search results today on Google are primarily showing AI Overviews and even the #1 position is far down the page. There are no special tools required, so long as you have built a site that is technically sound, passes the CWV tests and offers unique content, the rest seems to be luck or paid ads. You may find it helpful to watch successful social media accounts to get your followers interested.

BTW, that Welcome link above offers tips on using the forums' features and settings.

Since you already have strong experience in social media, you can use that to support your SEO efforts. Engaging content and social signals can indirectly help with rankings by driving traffic and increasing brand awareness.
For direct improvements, try focusing on keyword research, on-page optimization, and quality backlinks. Various optimization tools can help you monitor your site's performance, identify weak spots, and find opportunities for improvement.
Since classic optimization takes time, it’s worth considering ad platforms like Adsense or Aads. It’s can quickly bring targeted visitors and help you test how well your store converts traffic. Many businesses find that combining organic strategies with paid promotions leads to better results.

Which platform are you using?

Understanding, that to start with will be a help for inputs to your technical foundation.

The rest is administrative, tied to your SMM skills. e.g. properly optimized and engaging landing pages that match your SMM and outreach plus users intent. If you're successful in this Google will likely start to crawl and rank you.

That said, Google is changing how it selects and displays results, and not even Google is able to communicate accurately to the web eco system where this is headed. I personally think the focus is on brand + facts. Your SMM skills will likely be a major asset in building brand awareness to Google.
