TikTok spamming Google SERPs with "Discover" pages. How to compete?

Lately, I’ve noticed TikTok aggressively ranking in Google with URLs like:
https://www.tiktok.com/discover/keyword1-keyword2

These pages are appearing for tons of competitive searches and often outranking other sites. You can spot them using this search:
flights inurl:discover site:tiktok.com

(Replace "flights" with any high-competition keyword)

Is there any way to report this kind of authority abuse from TikTok? Has anyone found effective strategies to deal with it?

This is fascinating. At first, I thought it was just happenstance that they were targeting "discovery" as the new FYP (For You Page). Then looking deeper it is pretty clear this is intentional SEO strategy (and mighty effective at that). Google could take some action, but there is actually just as good of content on those feeds as the regular TikTok channels.

Interesting that this is assumed to be TikTok pulling a fast one on Google, rather than Google, well, being Google.

Best I can suggest is to keep it in the open and raise awareness.

I did notice "About 2,900,000 results" for flights inurl:discover site:tiktok.com which is indicative of the scale of the issue. But in the verticals I follow the Tik Tok results that i saw were "socially" orientated and not conflicting with purchasing keywords. But my observations may be limited, so happy to hear from anyone who contradicts what I said and can add any value to taking advantage of any constructive opportunities that may be occurring here.
