Insofar as my bulk B2B companies are concerned and many within my widget industry, the search engines have not been driving hardly any business for years, most agree since the 2014-2016 era, and I've been perusing since about 2020 the best usage of 30 yearsworth of accumulated information, images and data and I have come to a decision this last weekend.
I launched my first global site in 1993, its second iteration was around 1998/9 and my third iteration, HTML5, was in 2014. I now intend using all the information, meld it together and create a widget database for the entire widget industry to use and expand.
Will this put me on a collision course with all the search engines? Yes, of course it will, however all of them are proving just how useless, selfish, manipulative and censorious they can be at "organising" most information these days. I am not in the least bit concerned since I have tens of thousands of valid email addresses to advise people / companies direct of the revised site.
I expect this to take several months since I want to check every page manually plus I have also decided to cut-back extensively on my business travels simply because I do not like the travelling element any more especially within Europe and when actual driving is concerned.
