Stupid Question, but here I go....

So I'm dealing with a business that is in a SUPER niche market.... like 5 people in the US do this. So even though the have an address in Los ANgeles, they actually fly all over the US to provide their service.

Is there a way in schema or anything to code in that this is NOT a local business (and to ignore the local address), or let google know our service area is national (or international)? What is the best way to get this across to the Google?

TIA

Dave

Hi Dave,
Actually, every time i've done this I simply leave out any attributes that suggest anything as a location.

If you have any Google My Business entry you might find that it will skew the data as it'll tend to show "local" rather than national.

It might help to add some text in the content that your services are available nationwide.

I do nothing special for local - pushing for local is worthless effort. Having only five competitors in a national market you simply need to SEO market to your keywords.

I market to the world (free world anyway) local can find me with keyword search.
