Google SGE New Conversational Search: Generate Images and Write Drafts

Google's SGE (Search Generative Experience) has an upgrade with a way to generate images from user input, and to write drafts within SGE. Users have to be enrolled in the SGE experiment and in English in the U.S.

So they are encouraging AI generated content. Brilliant, that will help to fill the Web with unique content.

They can't discourage Ai content at this point as the industry has blown wide open, all the other superpowers are encouraging and using it for whatever means, even Microsoft themselves. So I think they are just trying to make sure whatever happens with AI, they should be the ones on top making the most $$$ out of it by any means necessary.

This is just more clutter and further moves away from a search engine.

Somebody out there is search needs to wake up and get back to a search engine! IMHO.

Sites will need to disclose whether their content was generated by AI or a human at some point.
