If a site is about shoes and you need to rank for wrenches you may have a problem. If the site is about shoes and you need to rank for boots you have a chance. You might create a page that points out the features of a type of boot. Try to make it useful to a visitor and not simply over-repeat your target keyword. The point is not the number of words or paragraphs, the point is to have the word in the context of your target visitor for that keyword. Understanding your goal and using your keyword in the context of your preferred visitor and then creating better content than your competitors can help. If you work toward offering a better visitor experience, you can do better than those who are looking for the right SEO technique.

Some of the popular ones include optimizing your site's meta tags, creating killer content that hits the right keywords, and building high-quality backlinks. Give 'em a go and watch your web climb those rankings!

I'm a big fan of 3 things to rank a site, in this order:
1. Unreal Content - If your content truly is not at least even, in quality, to your competitors, don't do it.
2. Topical Authority - Make sure you comprehensively cover everything in the niche.
3. Relevant Backlinks - You should have content that attracts links on its own. Reaching out to other sites really can help a lot.
That simple formula has helped me rank and make make about 40 authority sites over the last 2 decades. Last year, I sold my entire catalog.
I just started a site about 5 months ago and that same formula is working for it, as I write this.

What off-page activities can be used? like directory submission, bookmarking, Q&A, and Article submissions like that.

No, no, no and no. ;)
SEO today is not about ranking keywords. It's about creating content about topics.
Good luck!

Creating content is exactly what it says it is: create new related interesting content on your site. Attract new visitors with additional information on the topic of your site.

Creating content is about you posting unique, relevant and hopefully expert information / knowledge plus images about your chosen subject(s).
Unique means not copied and pasted and readily available from somewhere else on the web.
If you have specific experience about your subject(s) describe and explain what that is.

Updating the site and continuing new content also fosters the best of all things:
THE RETURNING, LOYAL USER
That's the first step toward building a brand and gaining a future community! Good will and word of mouth will often do more than any keywords one can promote.
One should create content for users/humans, not advertising!

Hi asif4li, I understand what you're asking. You have quality content in place already and you'd like to put it on more places across the Internet. You can find local forums, or industry-niche forums, or simply answer questions on Quora or Yahoo Answers for your brand. Try to look up some guides on search engine optimization that may have some examples that you're looking for, like an SEO Cheatsheet. There are a few by top names in the industry you can read and you can read some accounts of people who have gotten to the first page of search engines like Google and see what techniques they've used.
Hope that helps! :-)
