Google is releasing the December 2022 Helpful Content Update, which it says will take about two weeks to roll out.

The helpful content system aims to better reward content where visitors feel they've had a satisfying experience, while content that doesn't meet a visitor's expectations won't perform as well.

The system generates a site-wide signal that we consider among many other signals for ranking web pages. Our systems automatically identify content that seems to have little value, low-added value or is otherwise not particularly helpful to those doing searches.

@egnine, IMO this updates are a roling process. I guess the algo itself is runing immediatly but websites get the new ranking signals over the two week period. That is why some sites see instant crashes and gain positions back in time. It deppends how heavy the new ranking signal is weighted for the site. I guess that big players donīt even notice the changes while small websites get huge swing.
But besides this, how is google measuring HC? Only way is to compare sites in the same vertical. But google does not realy know what HC is. It is just guessing. So you can write nonsens and this seems to help with HCU.
