GSC Coverage - Crawl anomaly

Hi all,

There are so many pages listed under "Coverage - Crawl anomaly". These pages are obviously wrong.
These page looks like:
https://www.example.com/page.html/category1/category2/category3/category4/xxx.html
https://www.example.com/page.html/RK=2/RS=ZkgbrCl0sj8I4gMVxy0ItbcWHWQ-/category1/category2/category3/category4/xxx.html

Our question is How Googlebot crawls these pages.

Yes, GSC is a mess. It's like they took parts of different url's and created new ones.

Thanks for your reply. We cannot find such links on our website. Is it possible because of relative links?

You can inspect the URLs and check if there is a 'Referring page.'

Owin, I can't help you on the "why" as I've never found and answer. But, I can share that I also have a lot of gibberish urls in the Coverage - Crawl anomaly section that make no sense.

For months the new GSC has seemed to be a project under development rather than a useful tool. I would not worry too much about their “errors”.

I had a huge problem with this about five years ago. I never found the cause and eventually it all resolved on its own.

My web still appear Crawl anomaly,but some of the page can be open as normal,how could it be
