Anyway there's little difference from an SEO perspective, but .com is much more brandable and much more memorable -- if you can get a good name, which is not so easy these days.
However unless you offer services that are restricted and available to the UK only I would opt for .com
.co.uk makes the site sound exclusive to UK residents.
It all depends what you do with your site I suppose, but what do I know?
"I don't get around much" and mostly hide under my mother's skirt living at home in the basement at 37 years old...Just got a computer 1 week ago, before that I used to listen to the radio, so this internet stuff is all new to me! ;)
