Now I would like to progressively increase updates and the question is:
How can I help google to understand that this site will be updated more fequently?
I know that probably googlebot will get thi in months but ...are a faster method?
Another question is: index page has PR 4, and other pages as /link.php has PR 0. Link.php has lot of recent inbound links but I can't see better PR. Is it possible and why?
Thank you for help.

The best advice I can get you for your site to be more often spidered by G bot is to obtain some QUALITY inbound links. Quality means links from high traffic website with at least PR6+ (that are spidered at least once per day). In that way your site will be indexed and cached with the newest information it provides. Also if you do regular updates I recommend pinging your website (so bots/spiders could know there are some changes on your site). Some sites that offer pinging services are <edited> (although pinging services are used mainly for blogs, if you really update your site regulary...say few times per week it's cool to use these pinging services).
And in the I would agree with abates. Using Google sitemaps will automatically let G bot your page changes when you do an update (this process of auto notifying google and setting up the cron script is a little bit tough, but well worth it).
Hope it helps ;)
