if you all don't know, microsoft is bidding on a AOL / MSN merger.

AOL makes up 12 of google's advertising revenue..

google might place a bid on AOL to keep the revenue it makes from AOL.

would this have affect on adsense?

I don't think the loss of revenue will impact AdSense. However, 12% is a huge amount of revenue that Google could potentially lose.

I think it would boost MSN's bottom line of subscribers if nothing else but I can't imagine that MSN would leave AOL as-is as they would probably want to switch all the customers to using MSN.

Can you imagine AOLers trying to figure out MSN?
