According to this opinion article from CoinDesk (crypto news site) the new administration named a new head of the FTC Lina Khan.
[coindesk.com...]

Lina Khan, a 32-year-old Columbia Law professor, as the new head of the Federal Trade Commission. Khan, who will be the youngest FTC head ever, is known as a fierce critic of big tech monopolies like Amazon.

Enforcing U.S. antitrust law is a major part of the FTC’s mandate, and Khan is probably best known for helping redefine just what a “monopoly” is.

Given all the other recent posts on the on pending legal action against big tech and now this appointment it seems like there maybe a chance of change.

As always, time will tell. Meanwhile, I'm not holding my breath since there's a very deep resistance to change in Washington ... that goes back a century or so!

She was 11 years old when Google burst onto the scene and has a background in academics in a non-technology field, which means everything she might know about the dynamics of the technology business is received knowledge, which is inferior to experienced knowledge.

What could go wrong?
