Report: Google Under Antitrust Investigation Over DNS-over-HTTPS

The Wall street Journal is reporting that Google is under investigation for antitrust over the proposed DNS-over-HTTPS.

House investigators are also asking whether data collected or processed through the new protocol will be used by Google for any commercial purposes, according to the Sept. 13 letter.

The Justice Department is aware of concerns over the protocol change and has recently received complaints, according to a person familiar with the matter.

DNS-over-HTTPS seems to have everybody against it. Recently, it was Mozilla, being named "Internet Villain of 2019" by the Internet Service Providers Association (UK), for supporting and promoting DoH.
