Ads for aggregators and affiliates for the following will no longer be allowed to serve:

I've been blocking them on my sites since they started to appear.

Google banning them will just force them to the other ad platforms, where they mostly are already.

Pretty similar list of FB. Also its much broader than cryptocurrencies.

I also block ads from the various cryptomining sites; the ones that advertise how you can make money hijacking your visitor's CPU.

I haven't seen many of those ads displayed on Adsense lately but I see them on the 3rd party platforms.

Which makes me wonder about the effectiveness of the blocks - those were not allowed and I am pretty sure Google never allowed hacking services. I have also seen plenty of ads for Payday loans which are also not allowed.

Sorry for not being explicit. Lately the cryptomining ads have been displayed on my back-up ad platform, so I block them. Never blocked them on Adsense.

However, pretty sure some of the cryptocurrency sites, that do currently publish Adwords, also associate themselves with mining software.

I wonder if it's going to have an impact on the value of the bitcoin.
