Google has added HTTPS usage to its Transparency Report and it shows the trend from Chrome users that share their statistics. According to Google, "HTTPS is becoming the norm."
One of the statistics on the report I find more challenging to understand is the statement that says users spend more time on HTTPS sites than HTTP.
The country-specific data is also interesting to note, with a faster take-up in certain regions than in others.
