Fancy working for Google doing SEO?

Looks like a vacancy has opened up:

Might be fun!

hehehe, I saw that and thought that it might just be an opportunity to work for the company and learn more about Google, but it could also be to learn more about seo

It doesn't indicate what colour of hat the applicant should wear. ;)

Smoke and mirrors ..trying to get the gullible to believe that Google's own services "compete" in SERPs just like any other sites for their places..

Candidates need a background in computer science or "equivalent practical experience".

I assume this means all of us here who were around way before Google existed OR they're looking for a blackhatter? :-)

Does Google think that the word "background" means "academic degree"? Otherwise this line makes no sense.

Doesn't one of the Larry, Curly and Moe group have some kind of obsession with SATs? Perhaps a high SAT result will trump real world experience. Then again, the Animal Farm numptiness could have made it more difficult for Google to rig their own SERPs. :)
