Google Announces Mobile Searches Pass Desktop

Buried in an AdWords announcements:

"...more Google searches take place on mobile devices than on computers in 10 countries including the US and Japan."

That's interesting since I wondered how my percentages were in comparison to the overall numbers. I also see Google specifies it as "Google Internal Data".

I also wonder if they've managed to separate mobile WIN 8.0/1 from their data, since they don't/can't with AdSense?
