SME's abandoned by Google? Are you gonna vote with your wallet?

Google continues to promote corporate websites with weak content above specialist sme's in the serps. Its been like this for a long time now. As an sme are you going to continue to advertise or vote with your wallet and spend your advertising bucks elsewhere?

I prefer not to let emotions cloud my business decisions and I like to spend my advertising dollars anywhere $1 advertising earns me $2 profit.

We all run our own businesses and we all have the power to control our own businesses. Google can do anything with their business and I can do anything with my business. If you think Google is becoming an enemy to your SME, then you should seek out alternative traffic & revenue sources. Personally I think it is unwise to be dependent on any company that you can not control. It is wiser to diversify so if any traffic or revenue source goes sour, your company will still be healthy.

It is easy to spend alot of time complaining about Google and getting angry at Google. Unfortunately there usually isn't a strong correlation with anger and profits and I prefer to spend time growing my profits.
