I'm still not sure why you'd want to wear the device when you're there to watch a movie.

Google Glass should be banned in UK cinemas, the head of an influential trade body has urged.

Phil Clap, head of the Cinema Exhibitors' Association (CEA), said it wanted the smart glasses removed "whether the film is playing or not".

The CEA has no power to enforce a ban, but instead makes recommendations to most of the country's cinema industry.

Google suggested cinemas "simply ask wearers to turn it off before the film starts".Trade Body Calls For Google Glass To Be Banned In UK Cinemas [bbc.co.uk]

Possibly you're also there to record the movie?

Granted, anyone who tries this probably deserves everything they get, since it's on a par with taking a flash photo of action on a stage 100m away... (or, for that matter, 10m unless your flash is powerful enough to distract the performers and get you physically removed from the venue).

how they can record a whole movie on the glasses though? surely there's not enough space on it.
